Spin Control exists in hundreds of identations (or dimples) on the catching surface of the glove. The purpose of these dimples is to increase friction on the softball as it enters the glove during a catch. Wilson reports that the Spin Control tech should increase friction by up to 5% on the ball and better prevent it from spinning out of a catch.
